It's simple really. They are succumbing to the fact that black artists, better yet, black influenced music rule the entertainment scene and they want to cash in on it. Another wild theory is that they grew up listening to hip-hop and R&B and actually like it so much that they sing it. That said, I used the term "black music" due to the context of this thread, but in truth, there is no color to music. There's just this thing called race awareness/racism that people like you can't seem to get past. The sort of thing that probably has you equating black to ghetto with ease. Maybe you should just switch to something else if you don't enjoy it?
