West Valley refers to the western side of the Santa Clara Valley (I think). Not that anyone cares.

i'll devise a point system, so that the best club team in the country can recieve an award each year. points for xc club nats, track club nats, individual is all the nat championships, etc...
it will be great, and usatf can give them a huge cash bonus, and maybe some rich shoe companies will even throw some in.
i'll post it as soon as i finish it
Right on. Go Bob!

This is Anthony Davies; WVTC from 1993-2002 when I moved down to San Diego. Barely ran 2000-2002 as I was racing my bike.
Good luck at CIM and there's always a place to stay down here for WVTC folks.

Hansons 30 and Farm Team had 74. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? Hansons put 6 guys ahead of The Farm Teams 2. It looks like Brooks is getting more for their buck than Nike. Although Wisco ran well today, it was obvious that Hansons understood that it is a team event. Zero dollars to Individuals, $2,000 for the winning team. Hansons just grouped up and ran together (18 seconds from 1-5). In the 10k and above Hansons have absolutly dominated since they have become a club. How many years before the same thing happens on the female side?
Nearly every time on The Farm Teams records for 10k on up are prior to 1999 when the Hansons group got started.
Just from my perspective I assumed the ?Elite? Groups to be, Hansons-Brooks, Wisconsin Runner R T, Farm Team, Transports adidas R, Reebok Aggie R C and the others being very good ?clubs?, but from results of the race, it looks like many of the clubs are getting better athletes for their money. From the previous posts, Most people dismissed Boston AA as being serious now days and there was hardly any mention of the Bryn Mawr RunningClub or UniversalSole R R T. Nice job to all who ran.

On the men's side Hanson's won two of the three USATF National Club Championships this year and the Invaders won the other (T&F).
Club Northwest was the only team to compete in all three.
My opinion, if the clubs want to be considered "the best" they have to compete in the Club National events.
Below are the 2003 results from each.
