Because they lavished all the IAAF folks and the athletes with first class treatment on all their visits. Why will they be in Moscow in 2013? Because the LOC hired Diack's son as their adviser. One thing that sticks out is that for the most part the US men distance runners seem a lot cleaner than US sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, and throwers. On the women's side, Regina Jacobs, Mary Decker, and Deeja Youngquist drag the US distance runner women down. |
