Kid on my team has size 18 shoes.
Needs throwing shoes, and currently uses high tops.
Have tried, MF, first to the finish, venue sports, and a few others and cannot find any. No local retailer has anything even close.
Any help would be appreciated.

I ran into the same issue a few years ago. I might have a pair of adidas throwing shoes in size 18. They might be 17s. I had to special order them. I will look in our box of shoes. The thrower used them for two seasons; I think he gave them back at the end of his HS throwing career.
A few years ago, Mark Friton from Nike made a special pair of HJ shoes for one of my jumpers who wore a size 16 (unavailable at the time).
She must be huge.

I think you mean, it must be huge.
Go online, first try store site, with no luck try brand sites, Finally if you must, try an E-bay or amazon. But I do want to add in that I though I wore "size 15.5" shoes, and loved to brag about it (don't ask me why). In the long run I now wear a 13. All I'm trying to say is you may want to check if this kid even fits in the shoe size he thinks he is before you go through the trouble.
Best of luck
