Seriously, let's think about this. The whole point of NY was to get more fans watching both on TV and in person. Clearly the TV thing didn't work out. But that is for another thread.
But the 7:30 start is just killer. In Connecticut and thinking of coming? A lot of people will think again. Either wake up at 5 or get a $400 hotel room the night before.
Want to watch the race on the West Coast on the internet? Ok try waking up at 4:15 am.
They should have had the race at 1 pm. I can't think of any good reason not to have a later start.
Maybe they can get the Trials in 2008 and correct all the minor mistakes they made this time around.
