Not so fast. The athletes of the 60s/70s are as good if not better than the guys of the 2000s. AND THEY DID IT WITHOUT DRUGS, STUPID. Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson, Jimmy Brown, Roger Staubach, Wilt Chamberlain, Jim Ryun, Lasse Viren, Jack Nicklaus, Mark Spitz, TAKE A BACK SEAT TO NO ONE.
Well, if you say they don\'t take a back seat to any one, than why are we even having this debate. Times speak for themselves, and right now, their times aren\'t the best... so shelf your own argument.
Second, how do you know if none of those original guys wasn\'t on drugs. Because it was the 60\'s, or 70\'s?... Viren practically admits to blood doping. Also, I enjoyed how you put in Jack Nicklaus into your argument which solidifies why I\'m right. If guys were just as good back then, than why are people who are better than they are today not given the respect. As far as I can Tell... EL G IS THE GREATEST MILER EVER, AND GUESS WHAT HE HAS NEVER TESTED POSITIVE. So be it, all most of you have is SPECULATION, and its poor because this is what our sport has been reduced to... lets run trolls screaming everyone is on drugs... wejo wannabees that will never give respect where its due...
