This may have been mentioned before, but I'll ask anyway. I have a chronic tibial stress reaction that was a fracture at one time. When that healed after about 6-8 weeks of not running I ended up increasing my mileage too soon and it turned into a stress rection. Eventually, I took off another six weeks for that. It was starting to slightly hurt (not as bad though) again so last week I stopped running again. Should I take another six weeks off? Has anyone had a similar injury? I really want to run, but I also do not want to cause permanent damage.
