For what it is worth, the only reason that G-town is ranked so low (if you consider their ranking low) is because it is funded by the Catholic Church. In other words, their endowment isnt much compared to the Havard/MIT/Princeton's of the world. Take this out of the equation (seriously do the math for yourself) and G-town factors out as one of the top 7 schools in the United States. Of course, money may mean more resources etc. The bottom line is that if you ask any big name employer, they rank G-town on par with every other school in ranked in the top 10.
Both Stanford and G-town are great schools. You will receive equal social and academic experiences at both. Pick your school based upon where you fit in best and you wont go wrong.

I agree with most of your post, but G-Town is not one of the top 7 schools academically in the country. It's a great school, but counting national schools as wells as the top liberal arts schools - there are many better. G-Town is a safety school for the kids going to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Princeton, Williams, etc. Of course, you can still get a great education there.
I toured G-Town and there were tons of gorgeous girls walking around. My friend went there though and said he never saw any hot girls and wondered where they all disappeared to. I don't think you'll have this problem at Stanford.
