Did Mike Rossi (viral marathon dad) cheat his way into Boston?

But you are destroying this thread and turning a reasoned discussion of running and timing based arguments into something that is really becoming sad and offensive. The latest example that has me posting: It is really inappropriate for you to get your self worked to a level where you are shrouding yourself in 9/11 references. You are absolutely misguided when you take that approach and it is insulting to the memory of those victims and families that endure that legacy.

I understand hyperbole and maybe your comments should just be attributed to you trying to get a reaction, but the vitriol of your posts belies that. I can't make you look in the mirror, and maybe you see yourself as some kind of avenger of marathon cheating appointed by God but from here you are making Rossi look good by comparison.

Just take your comments down a notch or two and come back to the world. Overall, the world is really a nice place and you can see a lot of good in it and in people. I'm not asking you to see any good in Rossi or everyone, just consider looking around and stop being so hyperbolic vitriolic negative. I am not gonna argue with you, and I do not really expect you to see it the way I do, but when you use the word "we" and 9/11 I just want you, and others, to know that there is another point of view out there as to how to post on this thread.

Cheaters suffer, they don't suffer because of this thread or because of the hate. They suffer when they bask in false glory and know the truth in their hearts. Imagine tucking a child into bed and them saying You are the greatest for doing that and you know you did not really do it the right way. That is the burden Lance Armstrong carried for a long time.

This thread has served its purpose as much as it can.

He is in God's hands. Only God knows the truth as to whether he cheated or not." I saw stuff like this posted on the Lehigh Valley Marathon page under the comments before it was deleted. The point is Don't underestimate the stupidity.

You clearly haven't been keeping up. Because I did make my voice heard on Facebook and a Phillymag.com article. And non anonymously. I didn't attack Rossi for anything but his cheating and his bullying, but then he tried to bully me by posting links to past legal issues I had. Basically, he made this personal, not me.

And then he kept it going on here with all the name calling. I never called his kids anything. I have only made suggestions as to what is going on with his personal life, as you just did as well.

His wife hates him. His kids don't respect him. They will most likely turn into bullies themselves because that is all they have ever sen "daddy of the year" do. And he has damaged the reputation of a 35 year old DJ company. And he doesn't even know it yet because most weddings are planned well over a year in advance.

So please go back and read the history before you pass judgement.

So he gets him number, and holds it up with his MIKE t-shirt on. And the photos of his kids holding up signs that say Run, Daddy, Run and Go MikeGo.

Then he's on the shuttle. Then shots of him stretching his legs as he looks directly into the camera saying, "Let's do this."

The next minutes are just him hobbling along and looking into the camera saying things like, "Still in the game, baby", "What's up, Philly. Philly to Boston, baby", "See you at heartbreak hill", "Heartbreak hill....coming up"

Then the video does slow motion, Rocky-style, for the last 20 seconds as he flashes a victory sign. Then some wonderful iMovie Ken Burn effects for his finish line photos as well of his family, holding a sign that says "There's Only One Rossi Posse"

Then it fades to just text - #NoSleepTilBoston
