The men's race is lead by 7 sub-2:14 men including Nick Arciniaga (2:11:30), Matt Llano (2:12:28) and Daniel Tapia (2:12:28). The women's race has former Olympian Janet Bawcom (2:29:45) and Stephanie Bruce (2:29:35).

Nick Arciniaga is aiming to complete one of the toughest doubles in distance running at Sunday's Honolulu Marathon. A week after finishing second at the arduous XTERRA Trail Running World Championship Half-Marathon in Kualoa Ranch, the 33-year-old has traveled across Oahu ready for the 26.2-mile race from Ala Moana to Kapiolani Park.

Kimetto faces defending champ Dickson Chumba, 2012 champion Tsegaye Kebede, 2008 Olympic 10,000m bronze medalist Micah Kogo and Stephen Sambu making his marathon debut. Luke Puskedra, Nick Arciniaga and Diego Estrada head the American charge. World half-marathon record holder Florence Kiplagat leads the women's field against Boston champion Atsede Baysa and 2:23-women Valentine Kipketer and Gulume Chala.

Women are lead by 2:29 marathoner Clara Santucci, former US marathon champ Esther Atkins and 2:32 woman Lindsey Scherf.

Chipangama won in 49:23 over Phillip Reid (49:37) and Nick Arciniaga (49:53) while Kibii set a CR in 53:20 to beat Sara Hall (53:34).

Rupp (2:11:12), Keflezighi (2:12:20) and Ward (2:13:00) is your team to Rio as Luke Puskedra (2:14:12) and Tyler Pennel (2:14:57) just miss out.
