Molly Huddle, Emily Sisson, and Marielle Hall are the only women with the 10k Worlds standard and should all make the team. The 5k is much more interesting. 5th or even 6th place could still end up going to Doha if Shelby Houlihan and Jenny Simpson run as expected.

Maggie Vessey (800), Cory McGee (1,500), Shelby Houlihan (1,500), Evan Jager (1,500) Henrik Ingebrigtsen (1,500), Sally Kipyego (5k), Nicole Tully (5k), Garrett Heath (5k), Chris Derrick (5k), Buze Diriba (10k), Molly Seidel (10k) and Sam Chelanga (10k) are among the entrants with the 10k track debut of Bernard Lagat.

Some great middle distance races with Leo Manzano, Kyle Merber, Donn Cabral, Marielle Hall, Amanda Eccleston, Ashley Higginson and more competing.

Mo Farah's 2017 campaign begins on Saturday morning in Scotland where he'll try to prevent Garret Heath from pulling a stunner in Edinburgh for the fourth year in a row. Euro XC champ Aras Kaya of Turkey, plus Club XC champ Sam Chelanga and U.S. Olympians Leonard Korir and Hillary Bor also feature in the men's 8k. In the women's race, Euro XC champ Yasemin Can of Turkey faces U.S. Olympian Marielle Hall and Sarah Pagano. Laura Muir, Kyle Merber and Will Leer are among the legs in the mixed-gender 4x1k relay. Cabral will face Eric Jenkins, Will Geoghegan, Kyle Merber and Johnny Gregorek while the women's race has Norway's Karoline Bjerkeli Grovdal (14:57), Marielle Hall and Ashley Higginson.

The Olympic track and field action starts on Friday and the action will kick off in incredible fashion with a SPECTACULAR women's 10,000-meter final that will be run at 11:10 am ET. Can Tirunesh Dibaba become the 1st woman to win 3 individual golds in the same event? Or will Almaz Ayana mark herself as the new world #1? Can defending world champ Vivian Cheruiyot win her first Olympic gold? Can American Molly Infeld and or Molly Huddle medal? Will the American record go down?

Huddle was dominant as Houlihan and Conley took 2-3. Huddle and 4th placer Emily Infeld are only doing the 10K, so 5th placer D’Agostino gets a ticket to Rio.

Molly Huddle, Emily Infeld and Marielle Hall are all coming back from the 10k and all three have a good shot to finish top-3 in the 5k. Huddle has said she's leaning against doubling in Rio, but Infeld and Hall haven't committed, so Nicole Tully, Abbey D'Agostino, Shelby Houlihan et. al could finish fourth (or even fifth or sixth) and still go to the Olympics.
