    Pros:

    Comfortable upper

    Durable

Run without worrying about the shoe

    Cons:

    Heavyish for speed work

Can firm up after a lot of miles

I had issue where one of the heel cushions felt bunched up a bit, not a huge issue just noticeable

Basically a running shoe built for the masses to do a good job for most people

The Ghost is my go to shoe. I am a mid foot striker who can be injury prone based on shoe. The ghost has been one of the only shoes in my rotation that I can keep going back to and remain injury free. I tend to wear the outer part of the outsole very quickly (near pinky toe part of ball of foot). The ghost outsole is no exception and I can usually only get 300 miles out of a pair before I am running on the midsole on the outer part of the shoe. (I have had 3 pair of Ghost 12 so far).

This shoe was recommended by the sales associate at my local run store & it definitely delivers. It's incredibly lightweight, but doesn't sacrifice any cushion. Shoe holds up well and its breathable. While the design isn't the greatest, the performance of the shoe definitely delivers. I would recommend this shoe for any runner.

Strikes the right balance between cushioning and not too much cushioning.

Have been wearing the Ghost for several years now. The Ghost 12 continues to deliver. A great, versatile and reliable shoe. Very comfortable and just the right amount of cushioning. I primarily use the Ghost for easy days and long easy runs.

I like this shoe, however, it fit differently than the Ghost 11. I really like the Ghost 11 but the Ghost 12 is not as sturdy and supportive. It fits differently and not as cushioned as the Ghost 11. This is still a good shoe,

I would recommend this over some other models.

Bought this shoe for my daughter to wear to school in the hopes it would alleviate her foot pain during the day, and especially when running in PE. She has flat feet and is requiring a more specialized shoe. The Brooks Ghost 12 was the clear choice, and she loves it. It has indeed relieved her pain.

The downside is that she doesn't wear it for running only, but for entire days, and the fabric is now ripped at the instep on both sides of the foot on both shoes - in under 4 months. So for our needs, it is too fragile a construction, and we will continue our search.

If you are looking for a shoe with lost of cushioning and support I would definitely recommend . Not all that great for indoor running and turning tight turns but outdoor is where these shine . Lost of cushioning and I would recommend for mileage

A solid overall shoe - runs a bit heavy and light on the style, but this is your Toyota Camry of shoes: gets you there reliably and at a decent price.
