Before I discovered the Brooks Ghost 11, I had been doing the bulk of my easy mileage in stability shoes. I mistakenly thought I needed stability to support my low arch, but I was finding that years of experience had strengthened my feet, causing the stability features to feel annoying and restrictive. After doing some research, I ordered the Ghost because it seemed like a good balance between a neutral shoe and a decent amount of cushioning. After going for my first run in the Ghost, the only thing I wished was that I had made the switch sooner. The major plus side of this shoe is that it feels simultaneously "cushiony" and FAST, allowing you to get up on your toes for strides or fast-finish runs. I have even happily worn the Ghost during a few track workouts (longer intervals) on days I've been in a crunch before work.

They fit my foot in every aspect. They provide arch support, they don't slide around, they fit in a way that makes you feel like they were made just for you. They are lightweight, needed no break in period, not stiff. Laces stay tied.

The Ghost 11 was the first Brooks trainer I actually stepped into and while I have continued to wear their Ghost lineup since then, the 11 is still my favorite by far.  The cushioning was supreme and the comfort was next-world.  Brooks, bring this one back!

Its the go to shoe for me that I put on and just forget that its there. The structure and lockdown is great. The cushion is also pretty good. I wouldn't say that its plush, but it protects the legs through long miles and also hardens to give good responsiveness when the pace quickens.

The only drawback I have with this shoe is the excessivley high drop (12mm I believe) which can sometimes lead to a clunky heel feeling.

Go to shoe for long runs, recovery and even responsive enough for some tempo runs. Provides good level of cushion without being sloppy.

The Ghost 11 has lasted me longer than any other models. Starting with the 8’s (maybe 7’s) I’ve had so many i can’t remember. The fabric where your big toe would be would ALWAYS have a hole with in the 1st 4 months of wear. These so far have not had that issue. I’ve had the 11’s for 12 months. Average 15-20 miles in these.

These are my new favorite trainer! They are lightweight, but still, really soft and cushioned. I typically run in HOKAs but they are my new favorite! I highly recommend for anyone who's a neutral runner.

This shoe fits my foot just right. I have a lower arch with a bit of a wider foot. This toe box fits like a glove for me.

The shoe offers just enough cushion for someone my size. Im a muscular 190 and i have been able to get over 350 miles on this shoe.

Cushioned enough for long/recovery runs but also fine for doing longer tempos in. I've previously been running on Hoka Bondi 6 so they are not nearly as soft as that but hoping a bit more flexible.
