We’re doing a preview of Sunday’s EDP Lisbon Half Marathon where there will be a €100,000 ($107,000) bonus if someone breaks the half-marathon world record (and course record) on the race’s 25th anniverary . The world’s best track distance runner Mo Farah is in the field.

Our preview is coming soon, but in the course of doing it we asked Mo’s agent Ricky Simms if Mo was still being coached by Alberto Salazar. During his winter sojourn to train in Africa, photos came out with Mo doing a track workout and being timed by coach Jama Aden. That got the internet speculation going that Mo may have a new coach.

Ricky reports nothing has changed with Mo’s coaching situation, saying, “Mo is 100% coached by Alberto.  He made his annual winter altitude training trip to Africa (Ethiopia instead of Kenya this year) and was in daily contact with Alberto.  Nothing has changed.”
