CAS Clears Alberto Salazar Of All Doping Chages - Salazar Can Immediately Start Coaching Again
The CAS judges said it logically makes no sense to ban a coach but not his star athletes. Tara Welling Shares Her Experiences Regarding Weight as a Member of the Nike Oregon Project
Welling says she had both positive and negative experiences with Alberto Salazar and reveals he wouldn’t let her race at times unless she gained weight. “At the time, I felt that Alberto had my best interests as an athlete in mind and I had no reason not to trust him. It was confusing and I found it mentally difficult when I had to lose weight and look like other runners when I was not them. It was a constant comparison battle.”

Nike, Alberto Salazar and Top Pros Respond To Mary Cain's Allegations
Nike has issued a statement saying they will start an immediate investigation of the "troubling allegations" while Cain has confirmed she did try to rejoin the team in April of this year. Additionally, three former NOP members have said Salazar was very focused on the weight of his female athletes, but Salazar has issued a forceful denial of Cain's allegations, writing to Ken Goe, "To be clear, I never encouraged her, or worse yet, shamed her, to maintain an unhealthy weight.”
