I'm a guy so I don't weigh myself but I'm pretty sure I've always been around 140-145 since high school which was seven years ago.

Way to give someone an eating disorder. 6', 150lbs? Sheesh. Not sure i have seen a 6' tall adult male that thin.. ever.
Guess I'll put away that bagel I was about to make and have a tall glass of nothing for breakfast.
6' 140ish
4:17 mile.
A story:
But I have been 132-3 for spells both before and after that result. And running felt shockingly easy, even when I was barely putting in any mileage.
The first time I got lean was the result of a traumatic breakup and I couldn't eat much for months. Even barely sleeping and loaded on cortisol running 40mpw I took over a minute off my 5k in two months. I ran 4:17 much heavier 142ish on 50mpw and pretty mediocre workouts.
The second time I got lean I started cycling a ton and built up running mileage to 25mpw (after six weeks completely off). I never raced or did running workouts during that stretch. I went back UP to 6,000 feet and was immediately running faster workouts than I did before my 4:17 and floating every day.
People say a pound of fat is 2 seconds a mile. From my experience that is true. 5 pounds of deadweight is the difference between running being incredibly easy and a grind most days. I believe if I return to 4:17 fitness and 133 I will be in at least 4:07 shape if that makes sense...

Run for fun now at 20-30 miles a week and run the occasional race in 16:30-17 min. I am 180 or so. Have noticed as I get older, that if I cut down my weight, I have to sacrifice carbs and then feel like sh*t. Also, I just enjoy food and am not willing to give up things I enjoy to run 15 min considering outside of the running world, no one knows the difference between a 15 min and 18 min 5k.
Thank you for sharing. Yes, that makes sense.

Thank you for sharing. It seems like runners running times like this or faster are 2 pounds per inch minus 10 pounds.

Wow, that’s some versatility right there. Looks like your weight fluctuates a lot based on the distance. There has got to be a story to go along with these numbers.
