You're also wrong about those charts. They're showing fractions of national wealth, so inflation has no bearing.
The charts are completely misleading because they don't take into account the relative sizes of the generations. The generation immediately preceding the Boomers, the Silents, was a very small cohort. So of course the Boomers would comprise a disproportionate share of wealth. GenXers are also a smaller cohort than the Boomers.
If someone is going to compare generation wealth by share than it needs to be standardized to the relative size of the cohort.
