How about XC? I've heard it will be in Blaine. Will it happen?
Any predictions for Indoor top times?
800 - All Middendorf, but how much better can Gifford get?
Top Mile - All the top guys have graduated. Who's the dark horse? A Tommie frosh? Will the Cobbers step up in distance?
Top 3K - Haire & squad
Top 5K - Haire & squad
What have the Gusties been doing? Can they mix in the top distance events?

I too have heard that xc might happen sometime in early March? Here is what I'd predict for the top times.
600- Middendorf/ Gifford/Lelinga
800- Middendorf/ Gifford/Lelinga
1000m- could be a tie between Ezekiel Lelinga, Grand Mitchell, Munir Isahak
Mile- same guys from the 1000m: Ezekiel Lelinga, Grand Mitchell, Munir Isahak
3k/5k Zach Haire & squad if the Gusties are in good shape Andrew Stumbo should be right with Zach -
I haven't heard squat on XC but here's my top 3.
600 - Middendorf, Johnson, Wilson
800 - Middendorf, Gifford, Lelinga
1000 - Isahak, Lelinga, Grand
Mile - Grand, Isahak, Wallin
3k - Haire, Grant, Young
5k - Haire, Grant, Stumbo
Dark horses - Ebent, Meaden, Houseman.
All 3 had stellar seasons last year indoor. Could be people looking to get in that top group. -
Is any racing happening this weekend?

Looks like Bethel and Hamline are up for a dual meet tomorrow!

Looks like nothing too good happened in this meet. Maybe HJ but that’s about it.

Races are coming in, things are starting to look good.
Middendorf is back! Opens his season with 1:55. His teammate Isahak with 4:28 mile, prob the fastest mile in the MIAC for now. Zack Haire with 8:45 and Stumbo 8:50 3k. Excited to see what the next few weeks will bring. -
The Johnnies took over the mile, the Tommies three some dudes in the 800 mix, Moorhead has the top dude doing well, GAC is vibing with some “new” names throwing down some times, Augsburg is well Augsburg, SMU hasn’t competed (all their winter sports but track have competed this year)
Here’s to a more exciting next few weeks! -
Is spring cross official? Or any big meets this weekend or next?

STO started practice today. They're months behind. Might as well write them off. What's Carleton doing?
Tommies depth in the mid distance is considerable. The Gusties will visit next week after being paused for Covid issues. Maybe we'll see some decent 5k's?
St. Scholastica opened today, but their top guys all must be skiing. Their conference is planning to hold Indoor & Outdoor Conference . Wonder if Boone of DeWall will hop in to score points. -
word on the street is that the oles have professed their love for God and have been blessed with an outdoor season the likes of which we may never see again. heroic efforts on the part of Saint Brian Power have given us a practice and lifting schedule to rival even the tommies. Are the tommies even a part of the miac anymore? or are they busy at the discount big 10 to even bother competing against us lowly Miac teams anymore. word on division street is that the Oles have bolstered their team culture and will be clear favorites to [REDACTED] at this years outdoor competition. praying for the Carls uwu.
