Hello,
I have been reading with interest a number of similar threads but none which have the exact same symptoms as myself.
Last May I woke up with an uneasy sensation in my thigh on left side. Hamstring area left side numb and heel left foot was numb. No particular pain, just uneasiness and it was a little difficult to walk, indeed I played golf on the day it happened. For a while afterwards I was semi limping and generally uncomfortable with leg but it has improved somewhat and I can now function 'normally' with the exception of being unable to run.
Having some downtime with virus outbreak has made me focus a lot more on fixing what remains of the problem. I still cannot run (feels like left leg is out of sync) and cannot bear weight on tiptoe on left side. Also relatively noticeable calf atrophy on left side. My physio has given me exercises to strengthen calf muscle but I am not overly comfortable or convinced this will fix the issue.
Could anyone recommend who to go to or what to do in order to get to root cause? Or suggest what they think issue might be.
I live in UK and like most places, at present access to healthcare for this sort of 'minor' issue is probably not available at present.
Many thanks.
