Sweden came in middle of the road for both it's COVID reaction and death tally. Mobility data shows plenty of people stayed home and they still lost a ton of jobs. Most of the narrative about Sweden is wrong.
Vindication in the making for Sweden

Except that going "Swedish" on COVID actually means tightening restrictions. Sweden is getting hit hard by the omicron wave. This flies in the face of the Great Barrington assertion that "letting it rip" will lead to an advantage against COVID due to herd immunity. Sweden is seeing just as big a surge as its neighbors who were more restrictive in their efforts against COVID. Thus, the 15k in Sweden who died of COVID died in vain.

New York City is getting hammered with Omicron right now as well (even with mask mandates, vaccine passports, etc.).
https://hudsonvalleypost.com/new-york-could-be-days-away-from-more-covid-restrictions/The fact that Sweden and highly vaccinated places like NYC are getting hit reinforces the idea that Omicron is acting on antibody dependent enhancement. Nowhere appears to be safe.
We handel the situation very good without lockdowns. The Omikron escalated the situatuon a bit but same for most countries. Sweden is one of the world's best countries to live in. Real liberty and great opportunities...

Uptick in cases, yes, but no corresponding increase in deaths. Not yet at least. Cases mean nothing. Sweden case load from original surge and delta were understated by a good bit since most cases are asymptomatic. Likely a very high % of the population caught the virus and are now better equipped to combat the virus including newer strains. Cannot say the same for Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway which are all steadily moving up the per capital death rankings

They've consistently been under 5 deaths per day since June. That seems pretty successful. Zero Covid was never a goal for any reasonable person. The idea that because they are experiencing Omicron like everyone else they failed is ridiculous. It just shows choosing liberty to end up in the same place was indeed the correct choice.
Also that Covid would eventually mutate into a less deadly strain which it now has follows the course of every pretty much every similar pandemic and was 100% predictable. No one should be concerned that people are getting cold-like symptoms of Omicron. Until Sweden has a massive uptick in hospitalizations FROM Covid that threatens their healthcare system nobody should care.
Time to move on, Covid is endemic like it was always going to be. The public health cartel can't stop it in its tracks. Do what makes you feel comfortable and everybody move on with their lives.

Did Uncle Joe Rogan or some other kook teach you a new word today?
Hospitalized cases remain overwhelmingly unvaccinated.
Some of these hospitals probably classify anyone who hasn't received a booster in the last 3 months as unvaccimated. They definitely are classifying people who only have one dose a while ago as unvaccinated. The goalposts for "fully vaccinated" are always moving and that is pathetic. Even more disturbing is that the definition of "vaccine" has changed to fit the narrative and may have to change again according to the future infamous (maybe by 2075 when they release the vaxx data LOL) Dr Fraudchi.

Antibody dependent enhancement is when the success of COVID vaccines enhances my anger, or something. - JoeDirt
Breakthrough infections are not remotely evidence of ADE. Neither is immune evasion.
If you look at NYC's data through 12/19 you see that case rates among the unvaccinated are MUCH higher than among the vaccinated.
This is the OPPOSITE of what ADE would predict.
https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/covid/covid-19-data.page#dailyLooks like South Korea has adopted Sweden’s original approach. And NZ has given up on the zero Covid strategy as well
”Two months after the plan was implemented, Korea is witnessing some of the highest new infection and death rates worldwide. Son told reporters on March 23 that this was “inevitable.” “It had to happen at one point or another,” he said. He said once the surge is past, however, the country would be rewarded with possible progression toward the goal of normal life.”
And Africa (vaxx rates barely in double digits) gets the last laugh at first world hysteria.
