I live in SF and run along the Embarcadero and in Mission Bay. Went on an 8 miler yesterday. Noticeably less foot and vehicle traffic. I didn’t see let alone slip in any poop. People seem to be taking things in stride. A large portion of the workforce can work remotely without skipping a beat.
San Fran is on total lockdown - Is Running allowed? Has anyone tried to go for a run outdoors in San Francisco?

The stories about people going for runs in SF, while slipping in poo and falling on needles, are posters that have never crossed the borders of their red states. -
Went for a run in Presidio on Tuesday morning before taking one of the final Lyft Shared cars to the airport to leave the city. There were other runners and people walking their dogs.
It's not that bad, but there definitely is some ghost town/outbreak feel around. On Monday the line to 'Marina Meats' shop was half the block long on the sidewalk and they were sold out of everything by 3 pm or so. There are quite a few cars on the streets, it doesn't at all seem like there's no traffic, but as soon as you decide to go somewhere in one it takes half as long as usual because of lack of any congestions. There's also some weird stuff happening like pizza delivery done on the sidewalk through a barely lowered car window.
Oh yes I was staying at my brother's place in Cow Hollow and there were no feces in the streets around there, same in Presidio and Marina. 7th street in SoMa seemed to have way less junkies on the sidewalks compared to couple years ago. But maybe they're just hiding somewhere because of cold weather.
