What is untruthful and manipulative is your use of the 'British Model' for dealing with Corona, considering that yesterday the Brits abandoned that model as it became clear that Corona is going to decimate their population.
Wejo, you know this to be true and yet you hold up the already-abandoned and discredited model of 'herd-immunity to novel virus' as a reasonable way forward. Three days ago, that was true, but you know that today it is not.
You are breathing air into the balloons of the deniers and foot-draggers around here. Wake up.
I did not say the model was still being used or advocate for it. I haven't examined it. I said, "The posters opinion may seem idiotic to you but it's not that far off from what British experts were considering as a strategy 2 days ago "
The point being experts in Britain were thinking this was a good path forward just 2 days ago and now if someone asks about a similar path forward their question is supposed to be deleted? What is wrong with talking about why it is no longer a good option?
So 2 days ago experts were considering it and now it seems to be discredited. I don't know much about it but who knows you might be able to find even experts in Britain who support it. I have no idea but I don't have a problem with it being discussed. Say there is a panel of 20 experts in Britain ans 12 were behind it 2 days ago and it was the leading plan and now 2 support it or even 0 support it. Someone can't ask why isn't this being considered? The person wasn't discussing Britain but the point being what is wrong with people asking questions about similar courses of actions that governments were considering.
