The same people who care about D1: parents, former athletes, and that's about it.
Men:
Matt Wilkinson will win the national individual title. He was second last year and will be the top returner.
North Central will win the team title. Placed 2nd after graduating 6 of their top 7, but next year they return 5 of their top 7 and are looking to be mainly seniors. Also won more d3 national titles than any other team in the last decade.
Don’t count out Ponoma-Pitzer (won last year and are losing one senior) or Johns Hopkins (placed 5th but return their 1-5).
Women:
Parley Hannan will win the individual title. She won last year and is coming back.
Washington U. will win the team title. Placed second last year without Girmscheid and are losing only 2 seniors. Also they are returning good depth and they won nationals a couple of times before in the last decade.
Don’t count out Johns Hopkins (losing 3 of their top 4 but won last year and won many d3 women’s titles in the last decade). Also don’t count Warturg - placed 6th but return everyone.
Hannan is like 23. If she wants to age cheat she should go back to D1 and do it. The only people who take 6 years to graduate college are doctors and WIAC men.

Pretty sure it's confirmed that she's graduating and isn't returning.

It says she’s a Sophomore on raceberryjam.
1 1 Parley Hannan, So 2 3:23.9 1 10:14.7 1 13:59.5 20:53.8 Ithaca
I Just Found in the Ithica’s athletics website that she is a senior.
If she really is graduating, I think Isabel Cardi will win.

She's a sophomore eligibility wise because she just started running competitively in 2019. She's a senior as far as school goes. There's a long story about her somewhere but I forgot where it is.

On the D3 glory days podcast I think she said she is gonna run for one more year at Ithaca, but I couold be wrong. Someone can fact check it if they want

also this is a whack take, couldn't even pull of the win this year with 5 of their top 7 being seniors. The Willy boys will be lucky to podium this year even with Aidan Ryan and Elias Lindgren who could probably score 10 points between them.

You know, I think I meant men, but I see that's a stupid prediction, so I'm going to act like I meant it to be the women.

If the virus is still bad enough next fall for college students not to be able to go back to school/compete in athletics, that also means that we will be in a crushing recession and that millions of people died. The lack of XC will be the least of our worries.

Nick Symmonds ran D3. I don't care if you like him or not. He ran faster than you did/do in college and he probably did in highschool too.
You seem like the kind of person that bragged about running varsity XC when your HS varsity squad probably had 2 guys in the 19s, 4 guys in the 18s, and 1 god amongst men running a 17:30.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
