Or maybe this chart shows better what I'm trying to show Bad.
I'm not trying to be an alarmist at all but would like to see more data.
For everyone who thinks they were sick earlier in the year with this how come we weren't seeing a lot of deaths then? Or were they just getting swept in flu statistics? That doesn't really square.
At the marathon Trials in Atlanta I got sick. Figured I was hungover, getting a cold. Got back and got a fever. Pretty sure it was next day I went to doctor (Monday). He said, "you've got flu but not all the symptoms, I've seen 5 cases today but I'll give you flu test as i usually don't."
Gave me flu test and I tested positive for Flu A. I felt like shit that day. Slept maybe 16 hours. But was on Tamiflu and felt a lot better next day and day after. It's now 2+ weeks later and of course this has me questioning if I could have had Corona as well. Considering 9/10 people ares testing negative for it here in the US it seems highly unlikely.
I have a slight cough at times but get seasonal allergies. When I get a cough I often keep it. Sometimes I think my lungs are tingling a bit, but since day 3 of flu I've felt good and this was over 2 weeks ago. But affects of flu can linger and I had pneumonia in Rio so I wonder if times that compromised me longer term.
Didn't have any shortness of breath or any of the debilitating stuff others are talking about.
Most likely I had the flu but I'd take an antibody test for sure if they ever get a widespread one.
Stay well everyone.
