There was also one study that compared different sports and prevelance of heart issues and I believe it was something like:
Cycling > triathlon > rowing > weightlifting, swimming and running
Cycling has long had convicted & even admitted dopers, currently just trying to minimize but not stop it.
Personally I’ve found the instinctive nature of running makes drugs less effective & less dangerous, especially as the distance increases into ultras & even into these trans-continental runs.
