Riley himself came closer to attributing it to the shoes than anyone else. Or did you forget the whole 'refusing to take a sponsor because I didn't want to have the regret of wondering what could have happened had I worn the Alphafly' thing?
Jake wore the shoe because he wanted its advantages.
He PRd on one of the hardest marathon courses we've seen in a while--on a windy day.
The shoes were a huge factor for him, and Riley is the one saying it.
