Yeah it's pretty crazy. what would cancelling New Balance Nationals do
You still going to have hundreds of thousands of people traveling in and out of New York City. Sorry mate that Millions
What would cancelling a relatively small High School events achieve
Coronavirus is still incredibly Lowe's scale phenomena. The flu kills 20000 people a year in the US. People died of complications from the common cold by the thousands
Unfortunately we have one more virus that's on the landscape but it's still pretty limited and your chances of dying from it a very small if you're healthy. So it would be pretty strange if we started changing our normal behavior for something like this
Way more people have been killed by lightning so far this year than the Coronavirus in the US

Around 50 people get killed every year by lightning
So far 6 have died from coronavirus in the US and five of them were elderly people in the nursing homes
But I didn't mean it literally I just more meant it figuratively. Like are we really going to start cancelling High School sporting events because of the coronavirus
The virus is going to be diminished in the warmer weather
I bet less than a thousand healthy people are killed by the coronavirus this year in the u.s. . Excluding the elderly and people with preexisting complications
Automobile accidents are going to kill easily 20,000 if not more this year in the u.s. . Maybe we should cancel all car sales
It is 1 person. What is wrong with this country?
