Hi everyone.
I've had the Samsung Gear Fit 2, which I swapped with a Huawei Band 3 Pro. I needed something more reliable, and with more battery life. Well on the latter it passed with flying colours, I can do an hour exercise with everything on, including the GPS , consecutively for 3, maybe 4 days. The Samsung could do 1.
However both have the same issue - sometimes mid-exercise, it will simply stop counting my heart rate. The short story - my life policies are linked to my exercise routines - I have a set limit on how active I have to be in order to get a specific premium, as well as a much heftier payout when I reach the age of 65. Apart from trying to get healthier, it means direct $$$ to me. So a missed exercise is detrimental to my pocket.
Now on the Huawei Health App I see I can also link the Suunto Smart Belt, as well as the Polar H7, both being the chest straps.
Has anyone ever used these 2 devices? All I require is accuracy, and if it can do it's measurements whilst not connected to your phone, it can sync later. Also - at what point does it start to measure your heart rate - when you switch it on, does it have some button, or do you have to initiate an exercise - from your phone app in this case?
