Was it on a track? No? Doesn't count. Course was short.
In all seriousness, nice running!

Full disclosure - I suspect the course was a little short. I had it at 3.06.
Either way, that is a GREAT run, AJ!!
Very inspiring.
Sweet sub 16, AJ! Well done.
Awesome 5k angryjohnny! ?
Way to run, AJ! Do you think the mile training and racing you did helped to set you up for that? (You're clearly very strong on the endurance side of things.)
Picking up a couple of threads from earlier:
Pappy: Thanks for that breakdown of your thoughts on doubling. Very helpful stuff.
Sam: My initial comment about the similarity in paces was just an observation, no evaluation necessarily implied. Personally, I'd tend to agree with darkwave and GT about the value of not repeating the same kind of workout multiple times in a row, though I'm kind of a creature of habit and do tend to cycle through the same handful of workouts over and over again.
GT: Found what you were saying about a wide range of "tempo" work interesting and helpful. Thanks for the Hudson, link, too.
Lanc: Like where you're going with that week you laid out.

Definitely. That was the plan. Hit some faster mile stuff to improve my speed before transitioning to a VO2max heavy phase with a 5k or two thrown in. That will all help make the longer tempos and M work feel easier in the final push to London.
Looks like the plan is working!
And the giraffe goes boom.
Great run.
BEASTIN AJ!!!! Congrats!! Inspiring work

Felt out-of-whack- on my Sunday Marathon pace 10 miler. So cut it short and adjusted the mileage to the subsequent easy runs. Next week I begin phase IV of the plan with the starting mileage of 65/week. Played some 5-side soccer in the evening.
Thanks fellas. All credit goes to the LRC, where your dreams become reality.
