So I've been having this annoying pain in my hip for some 4 weeks now, and it just doesn't go away. It was really bad for a week, so I was limping in pain, and sometimes walking. It got much better in a week or so, but there's still this annoying, lingering pain right there around the hip bone. It doesn't bother me that much on most days, but after a hard run, it doesn't feel very healthy the next day.
I hate this sort of pain, because it's not bad enough to make me stop, but it doesn't go away either. How long is long enough??
I'm now running 80 mpw. Should I just keep at it, or drop some miles considerably? I stopped doing all supplementary work, because I feel it just aggravated the hip issues.
