As we know, PED's and other techniques have created a disparate playing field in athletics. Users have a distinct advantage over nonusers. What I propose is change the rules to essentially make chemical open season. Athletes are free to use any performance enhancing drugs and techniques. If a sport, i.e. pro bodybuilding, allows these things to be an acceptable part of the sport, there is no cheating. Unfair advantages come not by maximizing human performance through chemistry, but by some doing it and others not, which is the case we have now in sports like running and cycling. If the guy next to you is doing the same things you are, it's fair, right?
