I think it's just one person who is oddly offended by this, and I hope it's his girlfriend being overly sensitive and protective which is somewhat forgivable, but still misguided. A discussion about if Sage can manage to qualify is NOT ripping him to shreds. The guy had a crap time and he specifically said that he had crap time. Are we not allowed to discuss the ramifications of this with his upcoming marathon? Don't be ridiculous.
His diet gets ripped to shreds, but if he doesn't want to get ripped to shreds about his diet he should stop talking about it. How would anyone know he was mostly Vegan if he didn't endlessly talk about it?
I'm sorry Sage is upset about his performance, but, people here are also discussing what he needs to do to turn it around and still qualify. Maybe he'll get some good advice he can use. You need to think positive for the guy and stop seeing everything as negative.
