No! College is the way to go for her.
there is so much money in women's pro track.....
not
College track at the elite level, being part of a team and all that, is an experience she will enjoy and should have.
Do you really want her to end up like Cain/Efraimson? Terrible idea for a teenager, especially female, to turn pro. If she's for real, the money will still be there in a year or two.
Assuming she has full ride scholarship getting a $100k at least worth of school paid for is worth something plus a career beyond running.

Idk, Ajee Wilson is doing pretty well.
no.shes too young.
good point about Ajee. Mu can simply continue for the full 2020 season through USOC with the current coach and training that is obviously working for her. She's a long shot to actually make the Olympic Team, but certainly not a crazy no chance long shot, especially if she even improves on her performances from last year again. Then in the fall when this Olympic cycle is over, she can start at A&M. If by chance she does explode onto the Olympic scene, she could always go pro right after the trials, that's always an option. With the NJ roots, the group Ajee trains with might even be a good home for her as a pro.
Ajee Wilson is the US GOAT. Is Mu her successor, or is she only a very good NCAA level runner? Experience indicates the latter. She should go to college - she can drop out and become a pro any time.
She had a PB at USATF champs and finished over 3 seconds off the winner. The US is very strong at 800m right now. MU needs more time to develop without having to worry about competing against Raevyn and Ajee. If she got a pro contract, she would be expected to drop 2 seconds by the trials. That would be a prescription for injury. If she has a great year in college and makes the 2020 team, she can get a pro contract after her freshman year.
It's the right decision for now but one that she may want to revisit in a year or two if she keeps improving.
She is second generation African....I can only assume to her parents, education is the most important thing....She comes from a family of 7..I would think she is getting as close to a full ride...
She's got the Gig 'em sign down. Now she just needs to get ready for first cut. Gotta beat them tsips.
Why does A&M keep getting the top high school 800m runners when they don’t even have the best 800m coaches in the country? Does coaching really not play that big a factor in their decision? Is it because of what brazier and fray did with the old coach that they’re still piggybacking off of in recruiting efforts?

Coach Henry was the real coach. Francique ran the workouts that Henry wrote.
Brazier and Fray are a part, but don't forget about Dixon and Watson. Going back 8 years or so, they had some success with 800M runners like Michael Preble and Hector Hernandez and to a lesser extent Katie Willard, Brittany Parker, and Jean Jenkins.

She's a once-in-a-decade talent. She's 100% getting a full ride.
Easiest way to meet a future NFL husband.
A bit off topic but how many events can an 800 meter runner compete in/handle in dual meets or ncaa’s?
3? 400-800-4x400?
With 18 scholarships of course a women’s team is going to give a full ride to a runner like Mu all day every day
She could probably score in the 1500m/mile at the SEC champs, to boot. Rest her on the relay prelims, have her run the final only. Not that it's a great idea, just saying she would be capable.
