He's 25-35mpw; I am 35-45mpw.
We usually run on mondays together, 7 miles at about 7 flat pace. this is was initially tough for me but gets easier every week.
He's definitely smarter with training. I think he goes easy on Tues & Wed, then on thursdays he'll run 7 mile progression from 7:15 -> 6:15. I think his max long run is 70 minutes, again progression 7:30->6:30.
If he were to run the 1/2M with me in a couple weeks, I think it would be fairly good race between us because he will stay at 25-35mpw while I am ramping up miles the rest of this month.
