going to a female, tied to women's coaching in sport grant.
This has to be the worst off-season of coaching job openings
Did Arizona make a hire?
What did you expect? Lol
Rumor is Carmelita Jeter will be taking a position with Alabama
Who would want to recruit at that tuition price tag right now?
All Mine or anyone know about these situations?
Grove City College
Loyola Univ. Maryland
Georgia State distance
Drake University
Yes, as stated above, not much action
Haven’t heard about Georgia State until now. Any application live?
Still none for Regis College or Quinnipiac. No official announcement on MXC open at Quinnipiac but the coach is no longer listed on the website.
No application. That was one I remembered seeing their coach left for a D2 opening a few months back
What happened at UMass?
If this is true, hopefully they do right by her.
Smith-Gilbert was hired by them in 2000 and they dropped the ball miserably with her.
This is an amazing time for minority coaches in sport, I hope that they’re not just checking the box with this hire and will treat her just as equal as her counterparts.

UMass hired somebody back in like February. Not sure if it was announced anywhere yet.
A lot of the Sun Belt I believe has distance openings (many from last fall/winter), but I have not seen anything posted or any hiring announcements...schools or departments may be experiencing a hiring freeze:
Georgia State (Chris England was pushed out last fall, but finished they year)
Coastal Carolina (Zola quit after XC)
Louisiana-Monroe (I think the coach left XC for Townsend)
Louisiana-Lafayette (I heard the distance coach is leaving the sport)
