CAA doesn't have indoor track. Pretty sad for a DI conference if you ask me. UNCW is probably one of the least funded programs in the CAA too, so it's hard for them to compete, though they did get a brand new facility last year.
Who did western Carolina hire?
Can anyone confirm (proof) the UNCW coach has departed?

It's true. If you're looking for a job, look elsewhere. Nothing good will come out of the program with the current administration.
We'll see, heard her head is on the block anyway.
To add to your post, there's only 3 men's teams in the Colonial for track, out of a 9 team conference. Weird

I agree. They never cared about us they just wanted us to go away. I don’t blame the coach for leaving, he seemed too good for UNCW anyway. No coach in their right mind is going to stay there long term. Sucks for the athletes there, I feel for them.
Whats the situation here?

What’s with the Towson job?
Any word or movement with the positions at Defiance College or Longwood University? Seems like those had been open for awhile now.

All high school coaches here’s your shot!
What about the assistant that’s there right now?
Well, they are one of the better funded programs in the Colonial and they finished right in the middle. That might be a reason.
Longwood will hire their inexperienced assistant coach just like last time. They are doing sham phone interviews today to check off the box for HR.

How much of that is directed at distance?
