Just from a quick Google search (I searched Stanford since I know they've won the most NCAA championships overall)-
"The most NCAA team championships Stanford has won in a single year is six in 1996-97 (men's and women's cross-country, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's volleyball) and again in 2018-19 (men's golf and gymnastics and women's volleyball, swimming, tennis and water polo)."
Re individuals, I couldn't find any via quick search with championships in more than one sport, but I'd think over time one or more people MUST have championships in more than one sport.
As a women's volleyball fan, I do know of 2 who compete (or competed) in that sport who have come close-
1) from 2006-2009, Destinee Hooker starred at the Univ. of Texas in both the high jump (Wikipedia said she won 4 NCAA championships- 3 outdoor and 1 indoor) and with the volleyball team that lost in the 2009 national championship match after making the final 4 in 2008.
2) The current setter on Stanford's volleyball team, Jenna Gray, has been the starter on 2 volleyball national championship teams so far. She also competes in the javelin, where she finished 2nd at NCAA's in 2018 and 4th in 2019.

Since you are a volleyball fan, you should also know that Kristin Folkl won three NCAA titles in volleyball and made two Final Fours in basketball.
Sorry, I don't know the answer to the OP, but Stanford "has won at least one NCAA championship during each of the last 43 years, dating back to the 1976-77 campaign. In total, Stanford varsity teams have won a record 123 NCAA championships (66 men, 57 women) and 149 national titles overall."
Arkansas has won the "Triple Crown" of Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor 5 different times. UTEP did it 4 times.
No other school has.

Oregon women did it a couple years ago.
Grand Valley State women were the first in NCAA history to do it regardless of division in 2010-11. Their women won the soccer title on the same day the women won xc as well.
California Pac 12 schools compete in a number of sports that are not well represented across the rest of the country. Schools like UCLA, Cal, USC & Stanford rack up titles in men's volleyball, water polo, gymnastics, etc. Nothing wrong with that. It is what it is.
That would be quite a feat if a school pulled off national titles in football, basketball, baseball, and soccer in the same year. Maybe it has been done on the DII, DIII, or NAIA level?

Even the first 3 would be tough, esp baseball. Baseball sees the likes of coastal carolina, Vandy, Oregon St, South Carolina winning it all...none of them are winning either of the other two sports. Fla did win one though.
Mutliple championships? I live for Detroit repeating as the only city to win all 3 major sports same yr--Wings, Lions, Tigers!!
But ill take another 1997- RedWings, IHL Vipers, U of M national champions--Hey Hey Hockeytown.
Arkansas has no out of state tuition for athletes. nobody else can compete with them in sports that have limited scholarships. hence why they suck pig sooie in sports like football where they are on a level playing field with everybody else. So they shouldn’t count. say what you want- but they figured out how to win in the non revenue sports where scholarships are limited but kids can afford to pay. unlike being at a school and paying 30-50k out of state
