If Kipchoge's feat doesn't get a black page, please discontinue it right away.
Just get rid of it.

Galen could get the American record and/or win Chicago and there wouldn't be a black page. The brojos hate him.
Eliud would probably get one if he wasn't East African. Sad!
Their plan to preempt this with a downhill run failed. They're not pleased.
Im surprised its not a black page yet myself. What are they waiting for? Also a final thought.......................If kipchoge did not have pacers he still would have managed a sub 2:01 time. Also next years 2020 olympic marathon is going to be a race for the ages. im calling sub 2hrs

Pacers are worth at least 4 minutes.
I have to agree. I was shocked, I was appalled at no black page.
Because it wasn't run in real races.
When Bekele won Berlin, sub-2 became an afterthought. Since that day, it has been all about Kipchoge vs. Bekele in Tokyo. Nothing else matters.
It doesn't deserve a black page because it wasn't huge news or surprising that the feat was done. It would have been shocking if he didn't break 2 this time around. Get over it.

I feel like black pages are reserved for races

What next will you be shocked by - no black page for somebody's "record" treadmill run?
As much as I like Kipchoge, like other have said, I don't think it warrants a black page either,
Of course this should have gotten a black page. Brojos are too concerned with trollism. You have Kipchoge & all the stuff they're trying to drum up is negative stuff and unfounded doping stuff. Let's go after people when they get caught. Right now it's a lot more fun to believe in Kipchoge and celebrate what went down. LRC is always so sour when they should be trying to promote the sport.

Tokyo is gonna be hot and humid as hell. No one's breaking 2:05.
