Norman thought this was the warmup?
Norman thought this was the warmup?
dammit
Did Norman just mentality choke? Not really believing the injury excuse.
Norman seemed pretty relaxed about it. Very strange. Check with bookies, maybe he bet a lot against himself.
norman interview on bbc was interesting
Lane 8 in the first women's 400 hurdle semi hooked 3 straight hurdles....DQ her. (She didn't Q anyhow)
I only saw his interview with Lewis, but I believe what he was saying. He wasn’t erratic or panicking at all. He was very frustrated but also calm and believe he wanted to preserve himself and avoid a catastrophic injury, even if that wasn’t the likely outcome.
Emmanuel Korir missed the 800m final but made the 400m final with a low-altitude PB in the semis. Nice. The first true 400/800 runner in a long time
With the benefit of hindsight, Norman's 43.45 in April isn't looking so smart
Busy on a project at work so haven't been able to watch/follow. What happened to Norman? The result seems...off. Injury?
Might be interesting to see if any big bets were placed on him (Norman) to finish last in the semis/not qualify for the final, and who made them.....
I figured the US would go 1-2 in the 400. Now, I think they may not even medal. A few other guys looked pretty good in the semi and Curly will have to run very well.
Are you kidding me? They report that Hassan was doing the 5000m instead and now you're telling me she ended up in the 1500m. I literally changed my picks for her to the 5 after that reporting.
53.82 jogging.

Ah, I didn't realize there was one more heat to go.
Hoping this final produces the fast time we didn't see with the Men's race! Should be exciting.

The start list has confirmed Hassan is in the 15 rather than the 5 for at least a day or two
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
