He can come to Colombia in 4 years. We are very forgiving people down here.

Serious question: who is going to coach Rupp for Tokyo?
Is Rupp just going to shake this one off like “we’re focused on working hard every day. People say lots of things but that doesn’t affect me...” as he’s done in the past when doping allegations have come up?
I mean his lifetime coach literally just got banned for doping infractions.
Does NOP just disband?
I would love to be a fly on the wall at Nike HQ right now. How can they possibly spin this one?
He must be churning Prozac right now. Wanna bet he won't run Chicago?
I bett he'll mysteriously not run neither that or the trials and will never race again.

He is a Cubano born in Havana. He can always emigrate back.
I don’t know which college programs you’re familiar with but there is regular ardent testing in the BIG 10

Lasse Viren liked training in Colombia. Alberto parent's are originally from Cuba, so he could fit in there just well.
I blame the Illuminati!!!

So - what does this do to...
Salazar's employment with Nike (my understanding isthat his Nike job was always a reward from Phil for all he did in his running days)
NOP - When something like this happened to AW, Nike shut it down
All the other NOP athletes and their contracts. Do they get transferred to Bowerman? Will NOP stay open with other coachs? Dow this give them a possible way out of their contracts to become free agents?
Extra Bonus - Can't wait for a day or two to see how the world's biggest Salazar apologist, Ken Goe, spins this.
What does this do? NOTHING!
He keeps coaching Rupp behind the scenes. Keeps working for Nike. Maybe coaches a few HS kids privately as they aren’t part of usatf?
There’s a few coaches with lifetime bans still coaching. There’s no real consequence.
This is not news. Everyone knew al Sal did this. The real news is that they actually busted him.
At these champs nearly all the women are higher than a kite
But I expect brazier and. Murphy to be fine. Clean. That is with listed peds.
And Ethiopia is all rotten as is the USA sprinters.. Etc etc.
Track is rotten to the core except for a flow Apple's

This leads me to the question the statement, "is everyone at this level doping?"
If so, then were (are) NCAA champs who have proven they can run with the best, ie Murphy, Brazier, Engels, Hoppel, doping? I find it hard to believe these guys were doping in college and into now. I thought the consensus on if guys doped in college was.. probably not.
Furthermore, someone like Clayton who ran his 800m PR shortly after his NCAA champs and prior to joining NOP, I just don't think he's dirty. Same kind of situation with Brazier, Hoppel, Engels in their own ways.
Maybe I'm too optimistic, but idk.
I agree with you. I think doping can help people feel 100% all the time. There is no consequence for an amazing workout.
IT's a corollary to Canova's article. You can't be perfection. Maybe doping helps you get to perfect.
I got a doping tip about doing from an Kenyan-American. I wish I could remember what it was about. But I then asked him about Kipchoge. He said, "I think he's clean. That's the only thing that keeps me in this sport."
I'd be my life certain athletes like Ryan Hall were clea n- Although he might have been on some thryoid. Definitely willis clean.
Hassan was a 3:56 runner before she joined NOP. Now, she's a 3:55 runner. If she's using, it's not helping. Hassan's improved kick might be due to what looks like significant weight loss. But, whatever, posters on this board are just giddy about this news. It 's like the French revolution: guilty or not, everyone in the general vicinity will be decapitated.
Few Apple's that is.
Why put out this release in the midst of the sport’s biggest event? We all know the sport has problems but it also needs to allow itself to be showcased - to sabotage it like this is just stupid and myopic. The investigation has been going for 4 f’ing years - just release it after 4 years and 1 week. On the flip side, Salazar is a clown and I have no sympathy for his athletes that either chose to join or chose to stick around after the earlier rumors were well documented.
This. That’s why Sleazy Sal tested out AndroGel on his son, and sent Rupp’s urine to the Mayo Clinic to be sure it wasn’t glowing. Knowing how to cheat the system was Sleazy Sal’s superpower. (Except he did slip up with Decker). I’m so glad that he’s out of the picture now. Hopefully he doesn’t come back when his four years are up.
People. Suckers that are born every minute are saying they are disappointed????
the doping is right there in your face.
Duh?
Track is doping.

Why shouldn’t we be?
The ones that are clean
. there are some. Check their bio passport. There you go. Sorry paula

Is this one of the reasons why the thread was started that Rupp will be a DNS at Chicago?
Ritz confirms his injury and per usual we get nothing from Rupp’s camp.
Could Rupp be a DNS because of possible suspension?
My mind would be blown and spirit crushed.
Well, in that case get ready for a lifetime of therapy cause..."this ain't over yet partner"

I think Rupp is in serious danger. I'd be willing to bet he's a no-show at Chicago, and his Olympic's chances are in grave danger, as might his 2016 medal.
If Rupp's 2016 medal is in danger, would the same be true for Farah?
Yes, but lets not count on it yet

Yeah, I think this is just getting started.

Yeah, now compare her PRs at a few other distances before and after.
Besides, Hasan was widely thought to be doping prior to joining NOP. She probably just joined Salazar because the benefits were better and she thought there was less chance of being busted. Oops.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
