Ok
So I own a pair for VF4% and Nike Streak LT4.
I have only used the VF4% on half marathons and above. Have raced a few 5k recently in the LT4.
Have not done a 10k in some time not sure what shoe to pick any suggestions much appreciated

You already have the Streak LT4's which are great for that distance
dude you're not going to the Olympics, just put on a shoe and run
Definitely use the VF4% for your 10Ks.
Literally run a 10k in dress shoes.

This exactly x10. Why do people care about shoes so much? You aren’t professional runners. Shoes make minuscule amount of difference. Just find a comfy pair and run.

I disagree, I can run a 5k about 30 seconds faster in racing flats, which isn’t putting me in the olympics, but makes a difference. Trying to set pr’s is what motivates me to keep working. Why else would you spend time running? You could do other things if it is only about your health.

I agree. I think people at all levels are trying to improve.
Nope your right I’m not going to the Olympics.
I’m a middle aged guy who likes to run and push himself I’ve only recently started running road events especially the shorter distances and wanted a bit of advice. I was worried that the LT4 may not be recommended for 10k as purchased based on upto 5k recommendations but thought I would sound it out on people with a lot more knowledge and experience.
I've been really impressed with the Rebel, and have just bought my 2nd pair (though this time I've sized up and gone for the wide fitting after suffering with toe blisters). They are FAST, and whilst I've toyed with the idea of using for my upcoming marathon, I think I'm going to use them up to HM distance. My main gripe is that they make my feet rather hot, thus the blisters I suspect (but the extra space in the new pair should help).
I also have the Carbon X and use them only really for long /slow runs. I didn't buy them for this purpose, and really hoped they would be a 4% rival, but for me personally they're just too heavy. I haven't tried the Rincon but would expect to prefer them to the Carbon X due to the lower weight.
I've just bought some NEXT% :)

They tighter than the forever energy? I've been moving down to 10.5 for a lot of shoes lately but have had some adidas at that size that were too tight to wear.

I wish we had these in the other colors such as black or yellow...
I am not kidding we literally have this shoe only in the disgusting light blue colour in whole Europe....
I am thinking about importing them from the USA.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
