Think about how weak it sounds to simply dismiss all the evidence and scientific facts by simply saying "scientists are biased liberals."
The greenhouse effect is fact. Venus has hotter surface temps than Mercury even though Mercury is closer to the Sun. That is because of the greenhouse effect of Venus' dense atmosphere.
On Earth, humans are putting greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere through burning fossil fuels and use of other chemicals. We do. It's a fact. People can argue the degree that effects Earth's current warming trend, but the measurements of what is in the atmosphere is fact.
CO2 and other gasses do cause greenhouse effect. Humans are putting these gasses in the atmosphere. There is no denying that.
We can and should have honest discussions about what the effect is and how we can mitigate that over time without harming our economy. To simply dismiss the science by saying all scientists are liberally biased is really a pathetically weak argument.

I hate the taste of tap water. As a libertarian, I should be able to use as many single use plastics as I desire. Until the market makes it more advantageous to use tap water, I will continue to use single use water bottles.
Libs want to ban this. Insane. Capitalism works.

Do you at least recycle all those bottles? I think banning single use plastics is extreme. I do hope that people make an effort to reduce, reuse and recycle.
I don't buy all the doom and gloom on the left, but I do care about the environment and I recognize the need for conservation efforts.
If you believe in man-made climate change, you should be using MORE fossil fuels, not less. One individual's contribution to climate change is negligible even if humanity is solely responsible for climate change.
Burn that fuel and see the glaciers and coral reefs before they're gone. Enjoy your heated/air conditioned homes and energy guzzling devices before taxes and/or rationing kicks in, and before you're forced to cut back a certain percentage of your prior use.

I have given up my cars or my home furnace and AC, but I'm not going to be wasteful about it.
I recognize that my individual contribution is negligible.
I'm actually a bit optimistic about humanity overcoming this problem in the future, through advances in technology, new businesses creating solutions, adaptive engineering, etc. However, that won't happen if we all deny the facts of the matter.
Correction... That should say I have Not given up...
Mother Earth wants well-behaved children, but she’s not afraid of corporal punishment.
No it’s all nonsense to control the masses

May turn out to be capital punishment. Indeed already is for many other species, as we have entered the 6th Great Extinction - and that is man-made.
Yes. Nothing substantial will be done about it. A homeless person in America used twice as much energy as the average global citizen. Every culture on earth aspires to be wealthy and live in developed world style. They won’t be stopped. Capitalism unleashed the forces. It is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it pulled so many of us out of lives that were short, nasty, and brutish. On the other hand, it will kill off humans and many other species, or at least reduce them to very small numbers. Eventually. Probably a few hundred years, maybe more. No, I’m not a socialist or Marxist. I love capitalism. It has worked out great for me, living in this time, in a wealthy country. But, it really is bad for the planet, in terms of sustaining species over the long term. Nothing will be done about it though. Many of the Davos attendees came in on private jet. The most vociferous of the climate change advocates have massive carbon footprints. I think, deep down, most people know it is over, it is just a matter of how long. Decades? No. Centuries? Possibly. We’ll see. There’s a good review in The Atlantic on William Vollman’s book on the subject. Google it.
Most bottled water IS tap water.

Capitalism works to achieve ... what? If you think the end result of unfettered capitalism is bound to be a healthy and sustainable planet you are likely either ignorant or insane. There is no way to interpret the available data and arrive at that conclusion. Therefore markets must be regulated to achieve basic standards of environmental responsibility (not to mention humanistic values). Also, please note that libertarianism is an empty, self-serving agenda that holds nothing of value to anyone who can grasp that we are all bound by societal needs, not just individual rights.

There is no evidence of anthropogenic global warming in this graph. As indicated by the presence of the "little ice age" and "medieval warming", the Earth warms and cools naturally ALL THE TIME.
Try harder, sweaty.
No, I don't believe in man made climate change. What I do believe is that it's a very good fear motivator to get people to agree to massive energy taxes (which enrich the politicians and their donors) and achieve their goal of ushering in Socialism, by destroying the Capitalist economy with crushing taxes and economically devastating regulations, i.e., Green New Deal and industry/economy destroying bans on gas cars, meat production, gas powered flight.
In reality, those pushing "Man Made Climate Change" have no real intention of stopping the use of gas cars, gas guzzling airplanes and giving up meat. They're more interested in the power and wealth that using the issue as a fear motivator brings. Fear is a powerful motivator (both sides use it) and the Climate Change fear motivator just happens to be the one used by the Left.
That just one man's opinion. I could be wrong, but that's what my gut tells me at this point in time.
Natural climate change on the other hand, happens. We know that radicle temperature changes have happened to Earth over time, and these cycles have been going on for millions of years, long before humans started burning fossil fuels, raising livestock or committing other so called climate sins.
PS: The other great thing about "Man Made Climate Change" as a motivator for those pushing it, is that you can never disprove it, since it all happens in the future by 20, 50 or 100 years. Even after 20 years go by, they move the goal post another 20 years down the road as they have since they started predicting this supposed catastrophe decades ago. Every 12 years, we "Only have 12 more years!" Rinse and repeat, every 12 years, while rebranding it (Overpopulation, then Global Warming, the Climate change, and so on).

But we can measure the CO2 and other greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere.
You are correct that there is fear mongering with some of the dire near term "predictions" put out by the left, but you are incorrect that we can't look, measure, and see what is happening.
