This sort of stuff is really extraordinary. I mean, the utter ignorance. Whenever this stuff comes up, I always note the vague use of the pronoun "They" with respect to the alleged conspirators.
Whenever a conspiracy theory is broached, ask yourself one question: how many people would have known the truth and kept the secret. If that number exceeds half a dozen, someone on the inside would have leaked eventually.
Take the moon landing as an example. Congressmen and their staff, The President and his staff, at least half the people employed by NASA plus contractors, and hundreds in the news media would have had to keep the secret, and in 50 years, not one of them has leaked the truth: that it was done on a movie lot.
Why read a book by an expert, or the NY times or the Washington Post. If I want the real truth, I'll go to LRC.
