Politically I lean right.
Yes, I think it doesn't help that the killers are instantly famous. Hours after the El Paso incident you had Dayton. Could it be that El Paso was the final light switch going off in the shooters head? Maybe.
There are 390+ Million guns in this country. Democrats want to talk about gun control ... GREAT! I welcome that. There isn't a need for anyone to own an AK-47 or any Assault style weapon. Anyone who says we need to take guns away are kidding themselves. It will not happen. Way too many out there and that's not including people who have guns illegally.
The Dayton shooter turns out to be a liberal. The guy who wanted to blow up an ICE Facility was a liberal. The shooter in El Paso was a Far Right White nut job. Blaming one political party is gross. Blaming the NRA is irresponsible. We need to come together an pass something to try to limit these assault style weapons getting in the hands of people who are mentally ill.
I'll say this. in 2016 White Police Offers in Dallas were shot and killed. People on the right Blamed Obama on his rhetoric that could be seen as hateful towards police officers. THAT WAS WRONG.
Blaming Trump for El Paso is ALSO WRONG.
To the OP I don't the media is the blame but I don't think it helps the matter.
We need to come to the center on this conversation and stop blaming politicians and stop using this to promote a political agenda. Blaming Hispanics-Blaming Blacks-Blaming Whites. Reading tweets the past 24 hours from the woke blue checked twitter mafia has been disgusting. Identity politics are moving both sides more left and right.
Just my thought.
