I believe he also set a world's best for Coolest Shorts Ever.
Impressive! I hope I’m still running at 96!
I wanna be like this dude when I'm old.

Darn, my spurious theories have been totally debunked again.
I'm pretty sure that at 96, if you finish with a pulse, you get the world record.
don't get mad, but Antonio Nacca of Italy already crushed that record to sub 40 last March, and has also claimed the other records Englert claims, more than a minute faster even over 800m.
More impressive is those 90 year olds still going 3:34 over 800. That's still actual not-slow running. Put them on a running path and they're passing people.

In 59 years I know someone who will literally destroy this geezer
Would have broken 40:00 with some 4% shoes.

If Roy is a vegan, and a life-time vegan to boot, he is even more remarkable for not mentioning that fact in interviews! That has to be a record in and of itself?

Roy's an old time, back in the day vegan, unlike the current generation, he doesn't feel the need to tell the world about it.

D Day was a snowflake play fight compared to the Western Front. It was a nice summer day on the beach on d day. Try fighting the red army in the depths of Russia with Stalin turning the place into Hell. Not to forget the harsh Siberian winters
What a stud.
