Guess you have not tried RunScribe and their gait analysis? If you are looking at marginal gains, impact of different shoes, and using it for pacing whether through pace or power you might want to take a look.
If you did use them and just doing track then they are pretty pointless
I mean you can obviously see the RunScribe logo in pictures as well as RunScribes with white tape wrapped around them so....
Nike wouldn't waste resources to build a ground-up analytic platform and software/hardware when they can easily reach out to other foot pod manufacturers.
