could not agree more. have never actually seen the final scenes of these two because i'm crying too much.
the first movie I remember crying to was Mr. Holland's Opus.
Imitation Game - the scene where he cracks the code.
Has no one said Braveheart yet?
This is pathetic, but I get choked up watching Toy Story.
Schindler's List
Forrest Gump
Caught the end of Field of Dreams about a year ago on cable. Had seen it a few times before but never since becoming a dad. The final scene when dad and son play baseball catch. Water works. Just out of the blue.

No, the other movie where that happened.
This scene in Crash:

"Purple Rain," when the burly club owner with the cap who essentially hated The Kid watches him intently, in profile, and the third time the camera cuts to him, he gives a very slight approving nod. This is the guy whose opinion matters and that little bit is profound for him. Yeah, I cry at that.
"We Bought a Zoo," a movie with Matt Damon as a widower with two kids who indeed buys a zoo. It's Cameron Crowe's least well-known movie. It's all about the last scene. I've watched it 20 times (the scene, not the whole movie) and even though I tell myself "you're not gonna cry this time," it never works. Sometimes I cry even before it starts. Hint: the last scene is not about the zoo.

Manchester by the Sea. Both when he comes back to the house on fire and when he tries to kill himself in the police station. Gripping.
