Usually, both you and Bad Wigins are articulate debaters. I stated the three best aspects of Senator Sanders being promoted to U.S. President. All you two were able to do is cut and paste.
I'll pretended you were debating me. I will detail the advantages of: 1) Free public education K to 16 (BA/BS/trade school); 2) High speed rail; 3) government sponsored health care.
An educated populous drives away superstition. The Age of Enlightenment encouraged rational thinking. We need more rational thoughtful educated people in U.S. Liberal Arts education is actually good. An educated work force attracts international capital. There are advantages for U.S. workers when Toyota and Mercedes-Benz build plants in U.S. Since we all benefit from educated citizens in U.S., we should all pay. No Means Testing higher education as stated by Senator Amy Klobuchar. If a program excludes wealthy people, wealthy people will want to do away with said program.
Think about all the individuals in U.S. who are not healthy enough to drive &/or have had their license taken away for one reason or another. Do we throw people away? No! I have lived in tri-state area (CT/NY/NJ) and Chicago. A robust public transportation system is efficient. Rail within large cities is efficient. High speed rail connecting cities is efficient. Rail allows for mobility of labor. All the capitalists (Capitalist: One who owns and controls means of production) on let'srun should want workers to be able to get to work efficiently. [Most so-called capitalists on let'srun are merely stooges of capitalists.]
People say if F.D.R. would have lived through his 4th term, F.D.R. would have advocated for government sponsored health care for all. [Maybe that is a bunch of crap. LA Governor Huey Long was going to run for president against F.D.R., 1936 on a platform of government sponsored health care for all. Note: Long was assassinated by a medical doctor, 1935. A doctor who was a stooge for billionaires.] F.D.R. with U.S. Congress had an informal wage ceiling. Top income marginal tax rate from 1930s to early 1960s was usually over 90%. With an informal wage freeze, large profitable corporations offered great benefit packages to employees which included health care. U.S. ended up having health care tied in with employers. This is extremely inefficient. Capitalists on let's run should want future entrepreneurs not to have to worry about their personal health care. Young future entrepreneurs should not have to worry about providing health care for employees. A government sponsored health care program for all is efficient for a civilized society. Efficient for patients. Efficient for managers. Efficient for families. Efficient for workers. A government sponsored health care plan is only disliked by extremely wealthy capitalists. The wealthy capitalists want employees to need to depend on wealthy capitalists for their health care.
I could go on.
If anything I stated you do not like, use your own words. No cutting and pasting please.
