What a night. Lots of highlight performances and competitors. Ryan oosting runs MF 4:03 for the full mile. Two guys run USATF standard times. Spencer Brown was there. What are your thoughts on the night?

Live feed was better than anything Flotrack has ever produced

Highlight performances? Eh
Women's 5000m was amazing! Elle Purrier 15:08 (Olympic & World standard), Katrina Coogan 15:14 (World standard). Great night for New Balance Boston!
Abbey (D'Agostino) Cooper doing well coming back with 15:21.

Spencer Brown was there? So what, he shouldn't have been there.
Spencer Brown should have been in that high schoolers race because that kid ran way faster then him. I can't wait to hear what his excuse is this time.

We see so much about what's wrong with the sport. It's great to have events like this that show you what's right with the sport.

Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with that guy.

The live chat had a ton of elite runners (Brazier, Willis, Hunter, Engels, etc), but there were a couple of really obnoxious "coaches" ruining it and just flat out seeking attention.
The meet is described as a fundraiser on its website. Does anyone know how it raises funds when there is no admission fee?
What was the deal with the race commentator? It sounded like someone unauthorized got ahold of the mic. The guy referenced Kid rock and said he “might have a little surprise” and was talking over the actual commentators. Did anyone else notice this lunatic?

His excuse is on YouTube - overtraining.
He ran his last 200 at the Eastern regionals in what...38?...+40? He had graduated, was sick etc. He was tired, and should have rested. What did he do? Ball busting workouts within 1 week of that disastrous race.
He is in 1:49/3:39 shape. He should have rested, done some 200s, slept 12-14hrs/day and relax.

Thanks.
Y’all better keep your mouth shut about Spencer. MF trolls always hating on people with loads of natural talent and hardworking spirit just because they will never be that fast
Everyone has bad races, don’t pretend like you don’t. He is a future Olympian, calling it right now.

Hi Spencer. I said what exactly happened. He is done for this year and he really needs to examine everything because he should have been in the slow heat, true he ran a 3:39, but that was and all out peak race where he got DEAD last.
He had an excuse at regionals, but there was none, and no excuse now. He is done and he needs to re examine everything.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
