This is the most sh*t-flinging post-race I've seen for quite awhile in these threads. At least some things get better with age!

Ithaca
Only those individuals who have a strong track record of showing compassion towards the Garden State
If RPI, Geneseo, and SLU qualify the individuals going will be - Ethan McDonald (Oneonta), Robert Abrams (TCNJ), Blake Dellabough (Oneonta), Sean Kuehn (Brockport), Chris Singer (Ithaca), Matt Whitworth (New Paltz), Hassan Eissa (RIT)
If RPI Geneseo SLU and Ithaca qualify it the names above, minus Chris Singer, plus Chris Anderson (Ramapo).
If RPI Geneseo SLU Ithaca and Oneonta all qualify, then its- Robert Abrams (TCNJ), Sean Kuehn (Brockport), Matt Whitworth (New Paltz), Hassan Eissa (RIT), Chris Anderson (Ramapo), Jason Rodriguez (Ramapo), Dillan Spector (NYU).
Last year 18th place was the last spot, this year it could be 28th.
so basically what you’re saying is that the New Jersey kids can’t handle a little bit of cold? if that’s true then you’re doing the wrong sport

No reason for Oneonta to qualify. It's just going to be RPI (still trash), Geneseo, SLU, and Ithaca. It would be a crime against the Midwest region for you slackers to have 5 teams go.
Oneonta qualified blockhead
who the hell let oneonta in lol

A lot of chirping about Oneonta this year. But good for them, they showed up late in the season and deserve to go. Probably gonna get last at Nationals like RIT did last year though.
If you really think the committee doesn't take into account previous nationals appearances, today is proof in the pudding. Oneonta had been in 2016, and 2018 and got a bid today. They don't have a single win against a team that made the national meet, and weren't close to SLU and Ithaca at regionals. They probably deserve to be there, but to say they have the wins to have earned a spot is just wrong. Good luck to all my fellow AR guys, hopefully we do well as a region
It's not just out of region wins. The committee considers in no particular order wins against common opponents, points, 5 man spread, regional finish, etc. And importance goes to Regionals, then conference, then the invitationals in October.
Oneonta might not have had out of region wins but NYU, Brockport, Ramapo, Rowen, etc. did, and then lost to Oneonta at regionals. For example Elizabeth town lost to multiple AR teams that Oneonta beat. That's why Etown and Dickenson didn't get in.
Oneonta also had a better spread than a lot of teams in other regions who were on the bubble, and were closer to 4th and 3rd than those teams too. Regionals is a priority to the committee and they deemed Oneonta's performance in the 3rd deepest region in the country was enough to give them the bid. Better them than another team in the West or South no?
They beat Brockport at SUNYACs and again yesterday at Regionals. As I said in my previous posts, Brockport beat a bunch of outer region teams and they got 11th yesterday. That shows that the AR is significantly stronger than other regions and to be fair, other regions were not strong this year.
Who said this?
Probably a brockport kid lmao
Brockport is the only school that challenges Oneonta for dumbest kids outside of Clarkson
Unless you are Noah Falasco (if you are then hi congrats on the win) that means that you did in fact lose to a Jersey runner. RPI's very own Joey Domanico placed 5th overall and was the second man for RPI and went to high school in New Jersey. Joey D represents everything that is good and pure about New Jersey. But let's say you don't want to include the legendary Joey Domanico since he doesn't attend college in New Jersey. That means that you must be Henry Jacques because every other RPI runner was bested by Robert Abrams of TCNJ. But I have heard from multiple reliable sources that Henry Jacques is a cool and nice guy who would never attack other schools online, but is instead focused on his own success as well as the success of his team. With all of that being said the only thing that is clear is that you are a liar sir and you probably would not even make RPI's team. Joey D for life. Roll hawks.
This beef between a few guys at an nj school and a few guys at an ny school is so ridiculous. Both states ran well yesterday and both states are sending a few individual qualifiers. I'm guessing that the people contributing to the ruthless back and forth didn't end up running well because they clearly aren't in a great state of mind. I'm from an NY school but respect the NJ schools. And even though they aren't sending a team this year, nearly half the individual qualifiers are from NJ schools. Hats off to the runners from both states
Agreed my brethren. I'm from NJ, but I would love to see all the NY schools from this region do well at Nationals. Good luck to Geneseo, RPI, St. Lawrence, Ithaca, and Oneonta in Kentucky.
